Welcome to the “E The Real Timeline”! A journey into a deep catalogue of recordings from yours truly. Now before we get started, I want to let you know why I’m doing this “Timeline” of music. I have been recording Hip Hop music for 10 years now, and during this time I have written and recorded a “redonkulous” amount of songs! Anyone who knows my body of work can attest to this. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the opportunity to release majority of my old work due to a variety of reasons until now. In this post you will hear unreleased material from my early career (circa 1999-2006). I have been a member of multiple crews based out of Worcester, MA and NYC over the years including Fort Mars, Cold World Industries, Small Empire, and Brass Knuckle Mentality. This will give you a chance to see where I come from and how I developed as an Emcee. Keep in mind, alot of these recordings where done pre “pro tools” era. Some were even recorded on “4 tracks” (I know that might be a hard concept for you youngsters). So here is the first installment of the “E The Real Timeline”.
It is only right that I start off with two tracks from my Fort Mars days. Fort Mars is where I began making music with my good friend Forth Star. Heres how we got down @ “The Fort”!
“Divine Sniper” Produced by Forth Star 2000: This is a very old song featuring a very young, still learning E The Real! I believe this is my second solo joint ever. Shortly after I recorded this song I moved to the Bronx and had all of my tracks on a cassette tape. My homie Kenny copied a bunch of the songs onto a CD for me with some artwork and it totally blew my mind! Funny how times change…
“Red Rock Rituals” Produced by Forth Star 2002: Official Fort Mars crew joint! Line up includes E The Real, Forth Star, Serious (formally known as Shogun), and Afterlife Dream. First show we did back in 02′ we came out to this song and killed it! This verse is the first verse I ever spit on stage.
