First of all, I will start this post by saying sorry for taking so god damn long to do another edition of “Diggin With Manipulator”. Life gets in the way sometime but Im back with some heat this week for yall!
This week I came up on 2 ill records at my local spot. First up I copped The Ramsey Lewis Trio’s ” Another Voyage (Cadet, 1969). If you enjoy jazz as much as I do dont sleep on this record. I’ve been bumping this shit since the day I got it. Ill drums, dope keys and an overall soulful vibe makes this record great to listen to (you can actually hear other people in the background get down on some of the joints.)

My second gem for this week comes from the great Bobbi Humphrey entitled “Fancy Dancer” (Blue Note,1975). Most of you should know this blue note classic already. Its got the infamous joint “Please Set Me At Ease” which has been sample by Bahamadia and Madlib on the “Shades Of Blue” (which you should own!!!!!) So go out and look for both of these records. I got lucky and copped both of these in the dollar bins so dont sleep. You never know what amazing records you can find for real cheap!
